Red Cactus Horses was established in 2001 with a specific goal in mind....find a solid foundation of broodmares, bred to top sires to find the 'perfect race performance prospect'. Nestled deep in the sand hills of northeast Colorado, we have two facilities to aid in the breeding and raising program. We utilize top sires: Hawkinson, Gol, A Regal Choice, Royal Shake Em, Dean Miracle, Apollo, Devons Signature, Okey Dokey Dale, Dashin Is Easy, Dash To Chivato, Visionarian, and Wave Carver, among others.
Several of our mares are enrolled in the Embryo Transfer Program which allows us to achieve several more foals each year. We strive for excellence in our breeding program and are extremely proud of our first six years of offspring. Several horses have already hit the track and we look forward to having many more prospects, whether it be in the winner's circle at the track or in the arena running barrels, our foals are bred to run!
